Still, Grammy producers didn’t relinquish the star power so easily—they ensured some performers and nominees will still attend in person. Although the red carpet might not demonstrate the dazzle of years past, expect plenty of showstopper gowns and get-ups regardless; these quarantine-exhausted celebs are desperate for a fashion moment. If you’re wondering whether to tune in, Grammy Awards executive producer Ben Winston promised Variety this year’s show will give us plenty of access to our favorite stars: “The performers and nominees are each other’s audience, so it’s a room of incredible musicians, all safely distanced from each other, and every 45 minutes a new four groups come in and the [previous] four go out,” he explained.
